I have worked in the Hospitality Industry most of my life culminating in the position of VPO. BS Degree Food and Natural Resources UMass Amherst, MM Cambridge College. After of many successful years in Food Service Industry, hiring and training manager, beginning a culture of "people first", beginning a restaurant food safety program, becoming one of the first ServSafe certified Trainer, and driving sales and profits, I became disillusioned. I came to the conclusion that profits is not the most important part of a business and desired to get back to the "people first" culture that i had lived by for many years. I searched and discovered the world of non-profit training of farmers in food safety. I truly love my new vocation and hope to continue to re-create a "people first" training culture.
