Farms that are eligible for a Qualified Exemption from the Produce Safety Rule face restoration of pre-COVID Qualified Exemption documentation requirements starting in 2024. This relates mostly to farms in the business size class "Small" and "Very Small". The revised PSA slide set was created to assist with training and outreach efforts. It includes new FDA guidance related to expiration of the temporary policy of enforcement discretion. These slides are intended to help PSA trainers, other educators and organizations, and the farms they work with navigate the transition.
