Manure can be a significant threat to food safety on your farm.  Proper application and storage of manure on your farm is essential to ensure a reduced risk of contamination.  Improper application can result in costly recalls or worse. This guidance document and episode will walk you through the recommended use and storage of manure to ensure GAP compliance.  It will also provide a sample written Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for manure application, and  supplemental recordkeeping logs.
