Minimal food safety plan example

This example food safety plan proves a specific example from a demonstration farm in west Alabama that is managed by the Deep South Food Alliance (DSFA). The nearby food processing facility is hGAP certified, however the demonstration farm is not. This example is provided as a resource for growers who are not required to have a food safety plan, but want to begin preparing for that stage in their growth. It is a minimal plan includign example records, but it woud not be sufficient to pass an audit. The plan was developed, by DSFA in partnership with the NFU Local Food Safety Collaborative and Alabama Extension.
